Whether the communicator is a journalist providing news, a business promoting its products and services, a manger training employees or a mother teaching her children, communication is at the centre of everyday life. In recent times, media and communications industry has appeared as an economic sector that has a very promising future, as data and information influence our lives to a great extent. Increasing importance is placed upon the exchange of information in a global economy. Bachelor’s in Media Sciences aims at enabling the student to describe, formulate, analysis and deal with issues related to media and communication. This leads to giving students a foundation either for carrying out occupational functions or for further study. |

Mass Communication, Comparative Study of different Media : Print, Electronic, Public Relations, Advertising and also Information Technology. Media, Reporting, Electronic Editing & Production, Television and Radio News Editing, Press Photography, Basics of Films & TV Production & Direction, Post Production Editing, Television Production, Anchoring for both types of media, Documentary and other type of Digital Film Making, Marketing Films & Television, Brand Management, Managing the Advertising Agency, Campaign Strategy, Event Management, Rural Communication, Corporate Relations and a number of related subjects. Great value is placed in the course on application oriented methods of thinking and working. There are a number of practical classes held on the various subjects to enable hands on learning. |
