- Does the idea of taking old or damaged pieces of furniture and giving them a makeover excite you? If they do, it’s likely that you will find interior designing to be a fulfilling career.
- Are you fond of solving puzzles and cracking codes? If brainstorming and thinking out-of-the-box is your forte, designing may be just what you need to satisfy your soul.
- Like shopping for the perfect tiles to go with your bathroom walls? If you like spending time looking for the perfect decor accessories for your home and pouring over design magazines to keep in tune with the latest design trends, it’s a sign that you are passionate about design.
- Do you have critical thinking skills? If you do, you can evaluate projects from all possible angles and cooperate with clients to meet their goals. An ability to multitask and think critically can prepare you for a successful career as an interior designer.

- Have you always been creative as a child? It’s likely you will find maximum job satisfaction by following a creative profession.

- Can you mix freely with people? If you are good at interacting with people, whether online or face-to-face, you can get them excited about changes. If however, you don’t like interacting with new people or stepping outside your comfort zone, then you may not be a good fit for this career.
