The Department arranges for internship for all the students. Internships can be done in mental health clinics, schools, rehab centre and others.

Students have completed their internships from institutes like Mental Health Foundation, INK (Institute of Neuroscience, Kolkata), Belle Vue, M’s Clinic, AMRI, Institute of Psychiatry (IOP), SSKM, SHIRC, Swapnopuron Siksha NIketan, Mind’s Eye Clinic, ANTARA Psychiatric Hospital, Paripurnata Rehabilitation Home, Anubhav Positive Psychology Clinic, FORTIS Hospital, NIPIED etc.

The certificate course in Healthcare Counselling is a 6 months short term course under MAKAUT University (Formerly known as WBUT).

Any student who has passed 10+2 Examination with English as a subject is eligible for admission.

Admissions are conducted according to norms laid down by MAKAUT / Management of George Group of Colleges.
