The Annual Sports Meet 2026 of the George Group of Colleges was successfully held on 14th January 2026 at Rabindra Sarobar Stadium. The event brought together students from all campuses for a day filled with spirited competition, sportsmanship, and celebration.

The programme was inaugurated by our honorary guests, Ms. Soma Biswas, former Indian athlete, and Mr. Mehtab Hossain, former Indian footballer and coach.

Our esteemed Directors, Mr. Manoj Joshi and Mrs. Sriranjani Joshi, along with our honourable dignitaries—Mr. Subrata Dutta, Director & Trustee, The George Telegraph Group &Chairman, IFA; Mr. Anirban Dutta, Secretary, IFA; and Mr. Anindya Dutta, Director (Personnel), The George Telegraph Group—honoured the winners with awards, recognising their dedication and excellence.
