What is B.Sc in VFX Film Making?

VFX course is a professional course for learning the art, techniques, and software for 2D as well as 3D animation or special effects in movies/ films. It helps in creating imagery characters using live actions in filmmaking with the help of software to entertain the world. This course gives the advantage to design a wide range of video formation from footage visuals, computer-generated imageries, etc. Brand expansion gets strengthened using special visual effects. Every movie and TV programs enhance visualization through VFX. In recent times, the Indian VFX industry is growing widely, have witnessed a massive boost in the films. Industry has appeared as an economic sector that has a very promising future. B.Sc in VFX Filmmaking aims at enabling the students to explore their interest and their passion in visual effects and film making. This leads to giving students a foundation either for carrying out occupational functions or for further study.

One can even work as a Freelancer or start his/her own business. You will also be able to pursue higher studies in India or abroad.

What is the duration of the course?

B.Sc in VFX Film Making is a 3-year, full-time course. The course is divided into 6 semesters with a range of specializations as elective subjects in the last semester. There is also sufficient emphasis on field projects for building practical experience.

What is the eligibility for the course?

Any students who have passed [10+2] examination with English are eligible for admission.

What is the admission procedure?

Admissions are as per the norms laid down by MAKUT/Management of George Group of Colleges.
