The Department of Bachelor of Computer Applications, George College, Sealdah, successfully organized its Annual TechFest “SUMMIT 2026” on 8th May 2026. The event turned into a vibrant platform where students showcased creativity, technical excellence, and innovative thinking while connecting academia with industry insights.

The event featured impressive Software Product Demos by BCA 6th Semester students, where they showcased real-time applications, mobile apps, and innovative software solutions reflecting their technical expertise and creativity. Adding excitement to the fest, the IT Quiz Competition challenged participants on programming, technology trends, IT history, and logical reasoning, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and healthy competition. The celebration concluded with an Awards & Recognition Ceremony, where winners were felicitated with medals by faculty members and college dignitaries, making the occasion even more memorable and inspiring for all participants.

The event successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and real-world industry practices, encouraging students to explore innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.
