GCMS proudly celebrated International Women’s Day 2026

The Women Empowerment Club, the Entrepreneurship Club, the Institution's Innovation Council and the Social Activity Club of George College of Management and Science proudly celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 with the inspiring theme “Give to Gain.”

The event was a meaningful reminder that when women support, uplift, and empower one another, the entire society grows stronger. The celebration highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge, opportunities, and encouragement to create a more inclusive and empowered future.

We were honored to have Dr. Rumpa Chakraborty and Mrs. Abira Roy, Co-Directors of the For Me and By Me Foundation, as our esteemed guests. Their insightful words and inspiring journey motivated students to believe in the power of empathy, entrepreneurship, and collective growth, transcending the traditional concept of Give and Take and profit earning in business ventures.

The hands-on activity during the session encouraged young minds to embrace confidence, leadership, and social responsibility, reinforcing the message that true empowerment lies in giving—because when we give, we gain strength, knowledge, and community.
