The Department of Hospital Management at George College proudly celebrated World Health Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and meaningful engagement. Centered around the theme “Health for Universal Growth (Equitable and Holistic Solutions Through Science & Technology)”, the programme highlighted the importance of inclusive and sustainable healthcare practices. We were honoured to host an esteemed panel of guests who shared their valuable insights and experiences: Ms. Suranjana Moitra, Manager – HR, GPT Group Mr. Ashish Mitra, Deputy Manager – HR, GPT Group Ms. Sumana Kundu Sil, Head of Patient Experience & IP Operations, CK Birla Hospitals Ms. Sulogna Basu (Alumni), Executive – Patient Experience, CK Birla Hospitals Mr. Arnab Biswas (Alumni), Emergency Coordinator, Charnock Hospital Pvt. Ltd. The session, held on Saturday, 11th April 2026, from 11:00 AM onwards, provided students with an enriching platform to interact with industry professionals and gain practical insights into the evolving healthcare sector. From discussions on patient experience to the role of technology in healthcare, the programme truly reflected the spirit of World Health Day—promoting awareness, innovation, and collaboration for a healthier future.
