George Group of Colleges proudly celebrated International Women’s Day on 7th March 2026 from 11:00 AM onwards, honouring the strength, achievements, and contributions of women in society.

We were delighted to have Ms. Swaralipi Lipi, Entrepreneur and Owner of Abar Baithak, as our esteemed speaker. Through her inspiring words and experiences, she encouraged students to believe in the power of women’s empowerment, equality, and leadership.

The session highlighted the importance of education, breaking social barriers, and creating equal opportunities for women across all sectors. Ms. Lipi also shared inspiring stories of successful women who have made remarkable contributions to society, motivating students to support and uplift women in every sphere of life.

The interactive session created meaningful discussions among students and helped raise awareness about gender equality, respect, and inclusivity. Participants left the programme inspired to contribute towards building a more balanced and progressive society.
