Students from the BCA and BBA departments of George College, Sealdah, visited the RISE Foundation, IISER Kolkata on 08/04/2026 for an enriching field experience. The visit offered valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey of Bengal, along with a tour of cutting-edge laboratories, giving students first-hand exposure to innovation and incubation practices. An engaging interactive session with Dr. Goutam Kulsi further enhanced their understanding of startups and incubation processes. We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Goutam Kulsi for his time and guidance and to Dr. Sonali Roy (COO, RISE Foundation, IISER) for her support in making this visit a success. This experience truly inspired our students to explore and pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.
