The Department of Travel & Tourism Management, George College, Kolkata, successfully organized an insightful seminar on “Impact of Online Travel Agency (OTA)” on 28th February 2026 at 1:30 PM.

The session was conducted by Mr. Hitesh Sharma, Business Development Management, XML Agency / City Travel DMCC, who shared valuable industry insights with the students.

During the seminar, Mr. Sharma discussed how Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) are transforming the travel and tourism industry by making travel planning easier, faster, and more accessible for customers worldwide. He also explained the growing role of technology, digital booking platforms, and global distribution systems in shaping the future of tourism.
