The Sports Management students of George College were in the Bengal Rugby team , who were the champions this year in Senior National Rugby 7s Championships 2025.

Arjun Mahato, MD Ramjan, Rohit Shaw, Sumit Kumar Roy are the existing students of the Sports Management Department of George College. Akash Balmiki is the last year passout student of George College.

Akash Balmiki, Arjun Mahato and Sumit Kumar Roy got selected in Rugby Premier League from West Bengal. Mumbai Dreamers acquired Akash Balmiki, Kalinga Black Tigers acquired Arjun Mahato and Hyderabad Heroes acquired Sumit Kumar Roy
