The Department of Hospital Management, George College of Management and Science in association with IIC, IQAC, Health Club and Photography Club successfully celebrated the World Health Day 2026 on 7th April 2026 at our Chakmir Campus.

We were privileged to host our esteemed guest Mr. Niladri Sekhar Som (Assistant Manager – Credit Cell, Finance Department of Tata Medical Centre) and Mr. Partha Pratim Dhara (Senior Manager – Human Resource Department of Belle Vue Clinic) as keynote speakers. They inspired our students by sharing their professional journeys, discussing current healthcare industry expectations, and guiding them on the skills and competencies needed for future success.

Aligned with this year’s theme, the students actively participated in an Extempore Competition: Breaking Science in Myths, encouraging critical thinking, health awareness, and confidence in public speaking. Breaking the stereotype, the students also participated in Damsharas on health awareness movies- a smart and engaging educational strategy—not just a fun activity. All in all the programme highlighted the importance of science, collaboration, and continuous learning in building a healthier future for all.
